AIRLINE HUMOR
Flying into St. Louis, the pilot radioed the control tower for a time check. The tower replied asking what airline. "What difference does it make who we are?" "Well, if you're United we would tell you its 1500 hours. If you are Continental, the time is 3 PM. If you are Braniff, then the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3. But if you're Ozark,* it’s Tuesday." * NOTE: Ozark Airlines was a small outfit with an excellent safety record, which is now defunct.
 
MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE USED MAPQUES
A DC-10 had an exceedingly long roll out after landing with his approach speed just a little too high. San Jose Tower: "American 751 heavy, turn right at the end, if able. If not able, take the Guadalupe exit off of Highway 101 and make a right at the light to return to the airport....
