| SWISS AT TERMINAL 4 |
Swiss, a long time occupant at Terminal 4, returned on Dec 20, 2007 after a brief, nine month hiatus, with three daily flights serving Zurich and Geneva. Timed with their return was the refurbishment and upgrading of the Swiss Lounge for their exclusive Business and First Class travelers. The international airline has set a record of 12.2 million passengers carried on scheduled services in 2007 with the transport of 12,208,558 passengers. This is a 13.2 percent increase over the 10.8 million passengers transported in 2006. While total production was increased by a substantial 13.1 percent, the additional capacity was fully absorbed by the market. Swiss also raised its system wide seat load factor to 80.2 percent, a marginal improvement on the 79.8 percent of the previous year. Slight increases were seen in seat load factor for both intercontinental and European services. The seat load factor in 2007 on intercontinental routes stood at 84.3 percent (2006: 83.8%), while the seat load factor on the European network in 2007 was at 71.8 percent (2006: 1.3%). |

systems, the Port Authority this week unveiled new video and audio podcasts for using the AirTrain systems. They can be downloaded and viewed at www.panynj.info. AirTrain JFK served more than 4.4 million paid passengers last year, an increase of about 12 percent over 2006, marking the fourth straight year of increased ridership. AirTrain Newark handled nearly 1.8 million paid passengers, an increase of about 13.5 percent over 2006, and the sixth consecutive year of increased ridership. In addition, the rail systems combined to serve more than 20 million additional passengers who used the free portions of the AirTrains to connect between passenger terminals, parking lots and rental car areas. AirTrain Newark opened in 2001 and AirTrain JFK began service in 2003. Chairman Anthony R. Coscia said, “We’ve experienced robust year-over-year growth in passenger traffic at Newark Liberty and JFK – from about 59 million passengers at the two airports in 2002 to about 84 million last year. Our AirTrain systems have played a critical role in accommodating that growth by providing a viable transportation option for travelers and airport employees while greatly easing congestion on roads at and near the airports.” |

County Kerry, situated on the southwestern part of Ireland, is shaped like a crabs claw reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean. There are names we can associate with the county such as Tralee as in the :Rose of Tralee” and Killarney, also from song. Perhaps the most well-known place in Kerry is the famous ring of Kerry. The ring of Kerry is a tourist trail of notable places along a very scenic route. You pass through Muckouss House, the |

Staigue Stone fort, and the home of the patriot, Daniel O’Connell. But it is the shear beauty of the route as the trail passes along ocean vistas and pretty hilltops that make the trail a popular tourist attraction. If you look at a phone book in County Kerry, the most common names are Sullivan, Connor and Shea. Another name associated with the county is Dennehy. The name Dennehy is principally associated with the Irish counties Cork and Kerry. Its original form in Irish is Ó Duineachdha meaning descendant of Duineachaidh. The name goes back to the 11th century recorded in the Battle of Dublin. There are two meanings of the name in the books. One is "humane" and the other is "man from the fairy hills". There are notable people with the name such as actor Brian Dennehy; and in |
