A good time was had by all at the annual JFK Rotary sponsored
Christmas Party at Terminal 4.
 
KAAMCO
This year’s person of the year was Henry Zanetti of US Customs and Border Protection. His work with the business community has been recognized as a major reason why the relationship between the business community at JFK and The federal agency has made many of DHS new regulations workable without too many problems. As Henry retires our community wishes he and his family well. Mike Buckley President of KAAMCO Cargo is shown presenting Henry with a it’s Person of the Year Award.
 
Mike Buckley,president of KAAMCO- Cargo presents Elise LeVaillant, with recognition for the years that Elise has provided favors for the annual dinner dance. All handmade they generally are winter scenes. It takes Elise at least two months to make enough for the event. Also seen with Elise and Mike are her mother and father Jacques and Anne.
 
JFK CAMPAIGN FOR TOYS FOR TOTS
A BIG SUCCESS
The JFK Air Cargo Manager’s Club has proudly continued this annual tradition for the past ten years. Assemblyman Saladino was overwhelmed by the Club’s dedication and generosity to this most worthy cause.
The JFK Air Cargo Manager’s Club once again collected well over 50 Toys for Tots at their annual Holiday Luncheon held 15Dec09. Below is Joseph Badamo, Director of Cargo Sales for Silk Way Airlines and President of JFK Cargo Sales Club presenting some of the toys to New York State Assemblyman, 12th District, Joseph Saladino on behalf of the U.S. Marines.
 
TREES FOR TROOPS BRINGS OUT BEST OF JFK

The trees for troops campaign was an effort to send Christmas trees and letters to troops stationed overseas; specifically in Iraq and Afghanistan. Beginning with a rally at JFK Airport, and ending with heartfelt thank you notes from these far-flung outposts. The trees and letters remind us all of the simple pleasures in life - A Real Christmas Tree and a letter from home! It also reminds us how lucky we are to be able to spend the Christmas Holiday with our families. AIRTRAIN JFK CELEBRATES SIXTH ANNIVERSARY
Quickest, Cheapest, Most Reliable Route to the Airport Sees Doubling of Ridership Growth Since its Inception
AirTrain JFK, which connects travelers by rail to and from the airport, celebrates its sixth year in operation today. Since its first year, ridership on the service has literally doubled as airport travelers learn that it is the quickest, least expensive way to get to
and from John F. Kennedy International Airport. And evidently, passengers value the experience as well; since 2004, ridership on Air- Train has more than doubled to 5.3 Million passengers. To mark its sixth year of operation, the Port Authority has introduced new amenities at AirTrain JFK facilities including interactive signs and a new Welcome Center at the Jamaica Station. These improvements make access to AirTrain services and navigation through terminal facilities even easier for airport passengers. In recognition of AirTrain JFK’s 6th An-
