This year’s person of the year was Henry Zanetti of US Customs and Border Protection. His work with the business community has been recognized as a major reason why the relationship between the business community at JFK and The federal agency has made many of DHS new regulations workable without too many problems. The trees for troops campaign was an effort to send Christmas trees and letters to troops stationed overseas; specifically in Iraq and Afghanistan. Beginning with a rally at JFK Airport, and ending with heartfelt thank you notes from these far-flung outposts. The trees and letters remind us all of the simple pleasures in life - A Real Christmas Tree and a letter from home! It also reminds us how lucky we are to be able to spend the Christmas Holiday with our families.
